First day

First day in Social studies was a success. I just love this teacher! He's got exactly that kind of dry academic humor that I appreciate so much. I'm going to love this class...

LazyWorm got his braces today. I wish I had some in my teens. My teeth are crooked like an old wooden fence.

Much success in all of your classes.

It's never too late to get braces! I didn't get them till I was 25 ....definitely made a major difference....

I've never seen you smile so I can't say anything about your teeth :)

Blogger has been somewhat cranky with me, I haven't been able to blog or comment.

No, my teeth are not lovely, since I grew up in an enviroment of cotton candy... and I smoke, a lot. I wish I had a Colgate-smile but I haven't. Unfortunatly, during the worst part of my depression, I didn't even care much about my teeth, which added to their decay. I didn't feel anything that motivated me to take care of myself.

I don't have a "redneck-smile" either, but had my depression continued that deep for another year, the damage would have been irreversible.

Dental care is the only part of the Swedish welfare system that's very expensive. An ordinary root filling can crash one's economy for several months, especially when the budget is as tight as mine.
