All the children...

LittleAngel took a book out our bookshelf and demanded that I "read" to her. The book was from a very popular series of paperbacks with jokes, called All-the-children-jokes, in it and after reading some of them, I started to wonder if this phenomenon had taken place in other parts of the world.

Here in Sweden, these jokes were BIG a couple of years ago, especially amongst kids. They would go something like this:

All the children ate barbeque,
except Tony.
It was his pony.

All the children knew their fathers,
except Booker.
His mother was a hooker.

All the children had good behaviour,
except Jack
He was on crack.

All the children ate chocolate,
except Britt.
She ate her on shit.

Just imagine how the eyes of a nine-year old would light up when they invented a new joke.

Is this something that has occured in other countries too?

Most of these jokes were so politically incorrect that you just had to love them.

These jokes was SO fun in the begining! Even I loved them, maybe cause they are so boring but still you like them.. :D

Or..can it be us having very bad humor? ;-)

Boring? Bad humor? These jokes are the pinnacle of Swedish humor! There's poo, pee, blood, death, gore and prostitution. Real wiking-stuff! :D

That's funny. No, that hasn't hit childrens books in the US as of yet but I hope they do because I'd love to see how puritanical parents will react, LOL

The non politically-correct jokes are ALWAYS the funniest.

Any jokes that contain poo, piss, blood, death, gore and prostitution (or a combination of all of them) are good ones!
