Not much happening today

No, really, there has been not much going on today, except the usual stuff. ie, LittleAngel filling her diaper, LazyWorm forgetting his homework, CartoonBoy refusing to do his homework before dinner and RazorTounge feeling a bit ill.

I was at something we Swedes call Student-care-meeting. It is especially for parents with kids who have some kind of disability. I must say that this has been very well organized for us. The school system is obligated to aid us parents in any way they can regarding education, different special programs suited for the disabled children and so on. Without this, CartoonBoy wouldn't stand a chance in getting well educated.

(My biggest fear is that the right-wingers will come to power in the elections 2006 because they want to lower taxes and... when I think of it, they sound just like the republicans in the US...)

You see, we have built up a real good welfare system. In some instances it's a bit overboard but in general it works very well. I'll tell you about it in a later blog. It's almost midnight here.

Lowering taxes... that old carrot, eh?

It never fails to amaze me that the right-wingers always promise this as something much more important than healthcare and social welfare as an election point-scorer.

What DOES always amaze me is the fact that the electorate ALWAYS fall for it.
