Mother had an accident

I recieved a phone call sunday evening. It was my oldest baby sister calling to tell me that our mother had an accident. Apparently she slipped on a stair, belonging to one of the wagons at the funfair.

She broke her wrist, the shoulder-joint and a couple of ribs. She's furious, since she says she hasn't got time for bandages, plaster and pain-killers. What bugs her most is that she won't be able to drive neither the Volvo or the Mercedes for a long time, at least not for six weeks.

You might think that she at the age of sixty-one should take it a bit easier but if I know my mother, she'll probably start working with one good arm within two weeks.

Hej!

Kram... *L*

Good heavens. I'm so sorry to hear. Your mum sounds a lot like my dad. Tell her to not overdo it. Than again, who am I kidding? Like they even listen to us.

Sheesh ... parents.

Older people cope so much better than us young ones, don't they?

And oh! look at all that funny writing up there above!

oh I'm so sorry to hear about your mum - I hope she gets better soon (and allows herself to recover).
